Fremont Wedding Photographers – Palmdale Estates

Here is a gorgeous, colorful, and lively Indian wedding I shot as a second shooter for my good friend and colleague, Josh Rodriguez.  Josh is a seasoned pro in this market, and I was thrilled when he asked if I could assist.  It was a great opportunity and I was happy to see a wedding in a whole new way!

The bride and groom, their friends, and families all arrived early in the morning to prepare for this day and it was fun to see all the details and events unfold.  The ceremony took place in a lovely outdoor garden at the Palmdale Estates in Fremont, CA. I had never experienced an entire wedding ceremony of the culture, and it was refreshing to see all of the different rituals done, and learn their meaning (provided by a very funny and wise priest).

I would like to thank Josh as well as the bride and groom and their families to whom all I am grateful for allowing me to share in this ever so important milestone.  Enjoy the photos……

San Francisco Wedding Photography – Hotel Vitale, Ca

vintage wedding

A few weeks back I had the opportunity to shoot as a second for Francis Higgins, a local wedding photographer. The bride and groom got ready on the morning of their wedding day at the fabulous boutique style Hotel Vitale. It was exciting to meet such vibrant friends and families as we prepared, photographed, and awaited the “first look” before their ceremony.

Esther & Max – A Stanford Church Wedding

I am excited to share a wedding that I shot for a friend and photographer Mariya Novitski just a few weeks ago in Palo Alto, CA. I met Mariya on a local Photographer’s Group on Facebook, talk about the powers of social media! Not only did I meet a fabulous colleague and friend, she asked me to be her second shooter for a very unique wedding at the Stanford Church of Palo Alto.

One thing I love most about being a second shooter, is being a part of a team and supporting the principal photographer to insure that everything she has promised her clients comes to pass. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE how creative I can get. Having less weight on my shoulders such as the pressures of the “must have’s”, I can focus on also capturing those moments in between the moments that the bride and groom can miss out on because they themselves are being pulled in many different directions.

I love it when a client receives their photos and sees things and people from every angle possible including the behind the scenes and even the “bloopers!” After all this day is filled with many details, emotions, and we want to make sure they are a part of it all! It really is fun and it makes me feel like I am contributing on so many different factors. If you are a bride planning a wedding, consider asking your wedding photographer for a second shooter option, trust me, you will LOVE that you did this……again, you do NOT want to miss a thing.

Here are some of my favorites from my day with Mariya Novitski, whom I love keeping in touch with talking all things photography and more, thanks Mariya, let’s shoot again SOON!

Congrats to this uber fabulous couple!!! Cheers!

Cathy & Ray – A Celebration of God and Love

Congratulations again to Cathy & Ray Hawthorne….a FABULOUS couple indeed, we think you will agree! More sneaks from the photo shoot as well coming soon!

We met Cathy and her lovely mother Verdie at the Claremont Resort & Spa bridal faire hosted by Modern Bridal which we exhibited at earlier this year. And we were ecstatic when Cathy contacted us to photograph and videotape her wedding. I haven’t shot a wedding at the Claremont in some time and I was looking forward to her day with great anticipation. The ceremony location was uber fabulous and I recommend highly to any bride looking for a church in Oakland, to consider the great historic First Presbyterian Church. I knew her day was going to be amazing! Boy was that an understatement.

We were honored to have met most of the families the night before at the church reception and on the day of it flowed very nicely. We would also like to thank Frank and Herb of Red Lily Studios on our first video collaboration together, they did an awesome job with the fusion and sneak peek, and more will follow! Stay tuned for the Highlight Film of the entire day.

We’d like to send a heartfelt congratulations and thanks to Cathy, Ray, and the entire family for making us feel like part of the family, and for choosing us to cover their ever so important milestone! Cheers to the happy couple! Can’t wait to hear about your Hawaiian Honeymoon! Aloha!

Roger & Alexis Barr – A San Francisco city scape wedding

Union Square Wedding San Francisco

As San Francisco Wedding Photographers and Videographers we are fortunate to have such beautiful locations in our city that are captivating, open and just plain stunning.  Take for example, a wedding we photographed for our clients in San Francisco.  Alexis and Roger raised the “BARR” with their wedding, which I like to classify as a top notch City Scape theme!

Alexis as a wedding professional and San Francisco NACE Board Member herself,   knew exactly how she wanted her day to look and feel.  Her designs schemes were exquisite and breathtaking and made possible by Blue Water Party Rentals.  Roger is also in the wedding and event business and there is just no way these two would miss anything!
We would like to share a sneak peek into their day with this lovely wedding fusion video.  YStudio would also like to thank Josh Rodriguez for partnering up with us and providing the film making!

Enjoy some of the photos from the wedding and fusion sneak peek….and check later for the full length Wedding Highlights Video….coming SOON!
